Security investigation – JHE
Update 11:15 a.m.: The stairway in the John Hodgins Engineering building has been reopened. Hamilton police investigated a suspicious package and it has been removed without incident. The coffee shop area in the building and one classroom were temporarily evacuated while the package was safely removed.
10:45 a.m.: McMaster Security and Hamilton police have closed a stairway in the John Hodgins Engineering building to investigate a suspicious package. The building remains open and all activities continue as scheduled.
