Road and sidewalk closures June 3 to June 7

Main Street West covered walkway

The westbound curb lane and sidewalk on Main Street West from Dalewood Avenue to Forsyth Avenue will be closed June 3 through June 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The closure is required for the installation of a temporary covered walkway along the construction site for Lincoln Alexander Hall. Lane and sidewalk closure signs will be posted along Main Street West.

Traymore Avenue tower crane installation

Traymore Avenue will be closed between Forsyth Avenue and Dalewood Avenue from 5 a.m. on June 5, to 10 p.m. June 7.

This closure is required for the installation of a tower crane at Lincoln Alexander Hall. Residents can access the street from Dalewood Avenue with traffic control onsite to assist. No street parking is allowed during this closure.

Any changes to the construction schedule will be shared on dailynews.mcmaster.ca and on the Lincoln Alexander Hall project page
