Interruption of service – Facility Services


This notice is to inform all University departments on central campus that a staff meeting for ALL Facility Services personnel will take place on Thursday, August 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

 

During this timeframe, customers should expect an interruption in services including:

 

•           No scheduled cleaning and maintenance;

•           Minimal staffing at the Customer Service Centre; and

•           Delays with regular daily deliveries.

 

Facility Services has also issued the following alert:

TYPE OF ALERT: EMERGENCY UNIVERSITY CAMPUS WIDE STEAM SHUTDOWN

REASON: TO REPAIR MAIN FEEDWATER SUPPLY LINE TO BOILERS

WHAT TO EXPECT: THERE WILL BE NO DOMESTIC HOT WATER AVAILABLE. REHEATED AND STEAM HUMIDIFIED AREAS WILL ALSO BE AFFECTED.
