Registration for the Leadership Summit for Women is now open!
The Leadership Summit for Women is an annual community-wide event that brings together women, trans* individuals, and allies from the McMaster and Hamilton communities. This event provides the skills, space, and support for all participants to reach their full potential as individuals and as collaborative members of a community. Those who participate are driving the creation of a more just and equitable society.
This year’s theme, “Because it’s 2016” is inspired by Prime Minister Trudeau’s succinct response to the question of why gender equality and representation is important. Throughout this day-long conference, we hope to educate and remind ourselves about the issues impacting women today. Our goal is to help develop leadership skills and to facilitate conversations about meaningful change within our organizations, communities and society at large. The event will include keynote speakers, engaging workshops, and complementary lunch.
