McMaster is aware that full-time support staff at Ontario colleges, including Mohawk and Conestoga Colleges, have commenced strike action today. Classes at McMaster are continuing as scheduled, and all McMaster-run support services remain unaffected.

The University partners with Mohawk and Conestoga Colleges in some program delivery. We anticipate only minimal disruption to joint programs. Program staff will contact impacted students directly with updates.

College employees may conduct informational picketing near McMaster’s Main Street entrance, but this is not expected to block traffic or cause disruptions. For more information, go to Mohawk’s website and Conestoga’s website.
