New traffic signal coming to Sterling Street entrance
The City of Hamilton is set to begin construction work at Sterling Street and Forsyth Avenue North, starting June 16, 2025.
The project will see the installation of new traffic signal infrastructure, curb and sidewalk reconstruction at the Sterling Street entrance to the university, expected to be complete by mid–August.
The city is also doing roadwork on Sterling Street from June 18-20 and June 23-26.
Residents and those coming to campus should expect minor delays along Sterling and at the intersection during these times.
