New McMaster Wi-Fi network offers enhanced performance
Move over MacSecure there is a new Wi-Fi option at McMaster.
Mac-WiFi is McMaster’s new SSID (service set identifier) that uses a 5 Ghz based version of Wi-Fi. It offers enhanced performance in congested venues, like MUSC or Mills Library. If your device supports the 5 Ghz band, consider switching to Mac-WiFi for more reliable performance.
All students, staff and faculty members can log in to Mac-WiFi using their MAC ID. The MacSecure Wi-Fi network will remain active. For additional information see the UTS website.
