Mosaic training continues
Next week Mosaic will launch McMaster’s new finance and research post-awards system. In preparation, Mosaic is offering orientation and training courses now and extending into the new year.
Login to the Mosaic Learning Hub to take an online course or enroll in classroom based training. We strongly encourage everyone who will be accessing the new system to take the minimum recommended training.
Two online courses PeopleSoft Basic Navigation and Workflow, Approvals and Delegation provide an introduction to basic PeopleSoft functionality and are the recommended minimum orientation. A third, Expense Reports, Cash Advances and Travel Authorization is recommended for those who travel on business, claim expenses or are assigned to enter these expenses for someone else.
Additional training is available to those who will perform additional functions in the new system, such as journal entries. Contact the Mosaic training coordinator to be added to these additional classes.
To access the both the Learning Hub and the PeopleSoft system, users must be on the McMaster network or attached through the McMaster VPN. Users connecting from a Hamilton Health Sciences or St. Joseph’s Healthcare facility do NOT need to use the VPN.
