Fire crews were called following a small dryer fire in the basement of Matthews Hall on McMaster’s main campus on Friday afternoon.
No one was injured.
Residents in Matthews Hall were asked to leave the building for a few hours following the minor fire, which was quickly extinguished, to allow time for the smoke to clear.
