Microsoft decommissioning Classic Stream

Microsoft is decommissioning Classic Stream, an enterprise video service for Microsoft 365. The Classic Stream app has been replaced with a new modern Stream web app that is integrated with OneDrive and SharePoint. As of December 31st, 2023, access to Classic Stream will be removed.

University Technology Services (UTS) will be migrating Classic Stream videos for all users, groups, and channels throughout August. All users with videos in Classic Stream will receive an email detailing their migration details including their migration date, what to expect, and more. Videos on Classic Stream will not be deleted or removed until December 31st.

To make the migration simpler, users are encouraged to review their videos on Classic Stream prior to the migration in August and delete or download any videos they no longer require.
