A memorial service will be held Nov. 28th for long-serving McMaster professor Melvin Preston, who passed away Nov. 2nd. He was 96.
Mel Preston came to McMaster in 1953, beginning a distinguished career as a theoretical nuclear physicist. In the late 1970s he served as vice-president, academic at the University of Saskatchewan.
The memorial service is:
Monday, Nov. 28 – 11:00 am
St. James Anglican Church, Dundas.
