Membership announced for the committee for recommending a president
On June 30, 2025, McMaster University President David Farrar’s first five-year term will come to an end.
Prior to that time, it is necessary to establish a Committee for Recommending a President as provided for in the McMaster University Act, 1976, and the Bylaws of the Board of Governors and the Senate.
The committee is composed of 10 members, drawn from representatives of faculty members, students, alumni, staff and members of the McMaster community.
Also, an equity advisor and staff from the University Secretariat (non-voting) will support the work of the committee.
