McMaster’s United Way Campaign Reaches $300,000 Goal
McMaster’s United Way Campaign is thrilled to announce that this year’s goal of raising $300,000 has been met.
This achievement is the result of the huge generosity from the McMaster community. The campaign kicked off on October 1st with an event new to the campus – a bus-pull competition and fundraiser. Throughout the campaign members of the McMaster community rallied together by making financial contributions, organizing or supporting fundraising events including the annual online auction, donating time, services or materials, or spreading the word about the United Way.
This year’s United Way Campaign called on all members of McMaster to become Everyday Heroes and they did just that – becoming everyday heroes for over 222,000 residents of the Greater Hamilton community. After the Federal and Provincial Governments, United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton (UWBH) is the largest funder of social and health-related services in our area. The services and programs are provided to one in three people in our community.

McMaster’s United Way Campaign would like to thank all members of the McMaster community who have provided support to the 2015 campaign. The success of this campaign will allow for the development of communities that are healthy, vibrant and inclusive for everyone.
