McMaster Seminar on Higher Education
The McMaster Seminar on Higher Education: Practice, Policy, and Public Life is a lecture series presented by the Office of the President.
The aim of the series is to encourage dialogue and inspire critical thought within the McMaster and broader Hamilton communities. It is intended that the topics will be timely, interdisciplinary and far-reaching, guided by the key questions and challenges facing higher education institutions and the communities they serve.
The next seminar, “Inviting the Public Back into Higher Education,” will take place Thursday, Oct. 24 in Council Chambers (Gilmour Hall Room 111) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. McMaster professor and Global Television Network Chair Henry Giroux is the guest speaker.
