LIVE CHAT: Norm Buckley to address opioid addiction at noon on CBC Hamilton
Dr. Norm Buckley, professor and chair of McMaster’s Department of Anesthesia, will join CBC Hamilton reporter Adam Carter for a live chat at noon.
Buckley will address the rise in prescription painkiller abuse in the Hamilton area, and what exactly can be done to help stem the tide. He’s a key member of a new local task force working to find ways to combat the growing problem, and overhaul the way prescription opioids are handled and tracked through Hamilton.
