McMaster’s flags will be lowered to half-mast today in memory of Sharon Garden, who passed away suddenly on Sept. 24.

Garden was a cherished member of the Faculty of Health Sciences who, in her 18 years at McMaster, held roles across the university, including at the MacPherson Institute.

As executive assistant for the Faculty of Health Science’s executive vice-dean and associate vice-president (Academic), Garden was truly committed to her important role in the faculty.

She had a substantial impact during her time at the university, bringing vibrancy and joy to all she connected with at work and in the community.

She will be deeply missed by her friends and colleagues at McMaster. Click here for her obituary.
