The 2014 McMaster United Way campaign is within 3 per cent of reaching its final target of $300,000, thanks to the generosity of many members of the University community. That means $9,000 is still needed to meet the goal.

The theme for this year’s campaign is “Together, We Are Possibility.” Individual donations, both big and small, can help to reach the goal and fund 126 vital community-based services that move people from poverty to possibility, build strong communities and help kids be all that they can be. Together, the McMaster community can make a difference in the lives of some 220,000 citizens of Hamilton and Burlington.

There is still time to donate if you have not given to the United Way campaign yet. If you have maintained your pledge from last year, organizers ask you to consider an increase that would help push the total over the $300,000 goal.

Donors can contribute through payroll deduction, credit card or cheque. Just follow the links under the “GIVE” heading on the campaign website.
