Chilled water service disrupted in some campus buildings
A broken water pipe has disrupted chilled water supply and a few related services in parts of McMaster’s main campus.
Facility Services has isolated the break and the system is slowly refilling.
Some parts of campus — including the David Braley Athletics Centre, Ivor Wynn Centre, DeGroote School of Business, Kenneth Taylor Hall, Togo Salmon Hall, Chester New Hall and parts of the Student Centre — will likely not have chilled water for a few days while repairs are underway.
The disruption may also affect some of the labs where the chilled water cools specialized equipment.
