Become a Learning Portfolio Fellow, receive funding
MIIETL is seeking instructors from all Faculties to research and support the implementation of the Learning Portfolio.
Through the support of Forward with Integrity funding, MIIETL (The McMaster Institute for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning) will be overseeing the creation of several Learning Portfolio Fellowships for faculty members.
LP Fellows will play a role in generating research questions about the utility of the Learning Portfolio, and will serve as advocates for sharing best practices to support the use of the tool within the Faculties. Fellows will also participate as members of the Learning Portfolio Advisory Group, in partnership with MIIETL and other Learning Portfolio champions at the University.
Fellows will be awarded $7,500 to support research and advocacy activities during the one-year tenure of the fellowship, and an additional $2,000 to support travel to and Learning Portfolio related conference or course.
Support has been provided to fund the creation of 6 fellowships per year for the next 3 years, for a total of 18 fellows.
Interested faculty members should contact their Associate Dean (Academic) to discuss the proposal.
