Dr. Mary Jo Leddy is the Founder of Romero House Community for Refugees. She is an Adjunct Professor at Regis College, University of Toronto and Senior Fellow at Massey College, University of Toronto. A journalist and writer, she was the founding editor of Catholic New Times and a columnist for the Toronto Star. She is active in several human rights and peace groups. She is the author of several books including: The Other Face of God: When the Stranger Calls Us Home (2011) and At the Border Called Hope: Where Refugees Are Neighbours (1997).
