The Daily News regularly receives content from community contributors. This can include story ideas, written stories, photos, videos or links to other content.
Guidelines
Written news stories should be about 500 words. They should “show” the reader rather than “tell” the reader, and should include interviews with those involved in the story. Photos should be unique and help the reader visualize an aspect of the story. They should at least 624 pixels in width.
Worth Mentioning posts are typically about events, administrative developments or area updates. They should be concise and include relevant contact information and links.
Event information can also be added to the Events Calendar.
