McMaster’s spring convocation ceremonies took place in May and June in downtown Hamilton. The University’s 500th convocation took place May 18 and saw 397 students in multiple Faculty of Health Sciences programs, including nearly 200 soon-to-be medical doctors, 22 midwives and the first graduate of the Faculty’s combined MD/PhD program, earn their degrees. Approximately 5,000 students graduated from McMaster this year.
