Undergraduate student paper inspires Robert Harris exhibition

The latest exhibition of Canadian art at the McMaster Museum of Art is the direct result of a student's outstanding art history paper. When Mira Radanovic, a fourth-year McMaster humanities student majoring in art history and English, submitted her essay, The Resurrection of Robert Harris, she expected it to be read only by her professor. Instead, it inspired an exhibition in the Museum's Togo Salmon Gallery and an eight-page brochure.

Marauders to play NCAA opponent on home court

The McMaster men's basketball team will play Bradley University, an NCAA, Division I team from Peoria, Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. at the Burridge Gymnasium on the McMaster University campus.

Research lab helps answer questions about education

How does choice in public schooling affect student outcomes? What are the impacts of university based automatic scholarships on university choice? What makes for a successful transition from high school to university? How does government funding to charitable organizations affect the fundraising efforts of the organizations and the donors to these organizations? These are just some questions researchers hope to answer with the development of the new Public Economics Data Analysis Laboratory that opened recently in Kenneth Taylor Hall, Rm. 118.

McMaster commuters are on the “Go”

Now, more than ever, McMaster commuters are on the "GO". In response to a growing increase in those using GO Transit, service to and from McMaster will increase for a second time this fall. At the beginning of September, GO Transit almost doubled service to the University, but realized it's not enough.

McMaster student a double medal star at Paralympic Games in Athens

It started with a bronze moment and ended with a silver celebration. Elisabeth Walker, McMaster occupational therapy student in the School of Rehabilitation Science, was a double medal winner in the swimming competitions at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. Walker received bronze in the 50-meter butterfly and silver in the 4 x 100 medley relay.
