To celebrate National Indigenous History Month join us for an online talk with Indigenous and non-Indigenous voices working in the field of archaeology.
Archaeology has long been portrayed as a neutral science of the past—but what if it could help shape a more just future? Join us for a panel discussion with Indigenous and non-Indigenous voices working in the field of archaeology as they explore how Cultural Resource Management (CRM) archaeology in Ontario is evolving into a powerful tool for truth, reconciliation, and Indigenous sovereignty.
Discover how new collaborations and ethical approaches are challenging the colonial roots of archaeology and redefining its purpose through shared stewardship of ancestral lands and stories.
Don’t miss this talk if you are passionate about the past and how to reshape systems that will inspire new ways of thinking — and acting — in the present and future.
