Virtual Library Pets Drop In

Library Pets is returning at McMaster University Library just in time for the bustling second half of the fall term.

Each Wednesday in November, McMaster students, as well as faculty and staff, are invited to an informal, virtual drop-in to meet library staff and their pets.

Rebecca Tauro, a McMaster student who participated in Library Pets this summer, agreed that the event offered a fun pause from the busyness of everyday life.

“I’ve always loved pets, so to have an opportunity like this was amazing,” said Tauro. “Attending the Library Pets’ virtual sessions were the perfect way for me to take a break from my busy schedule and interact with the library staff and their adorable pets. Seeing these pets and hearing their stories surely brightened my day.”

Library Pets is part of McMaster University Library’s ongoing efforts to connect with students and the McMaster community in creative ways.
