There is a growing commitment to evidence-based action on the part of researchers and policymakers in many parts of Africa. Discovering the best strategies to integrate research findings into policymaking and policy-implementation processes is critical to fostering this approach. One solution that has gained traction for engaging diverse groups in the use of these strategies is that of evidence ecosystem maps. Join our webinar as Jesse Uneke (director of the African Institute for Health Policy and Health Systems Studies) shares insights into this approach and from his experience in supporting evidence-informed policymaking in Nigeria. Kaelan Moat (McMaster Health Forum) will provide insights from the Forum’s experience in working with other groups around the world to support evidence-informed policymaking.
