Join us at the Terminal Diner as we explore the intersections of science, design, art, and humanity to shape the future of end-of-life care in Canada.
Michelle Howard, an associate professor at McMaster University’s Department of Family Medicine, and co-principal investigator Sarina Isenberg from the University of Ottawa and Bruyère Research Institute, are interested in exploring what an ideal end-of-life healthcare journey may look like.
Inspired by the characteristics of a diner — and developed in collaboration with design researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience — the Terminal Diner offers participants a unique opportunity to reflect on and “order” their ideal end-of-life healthcare experience, as well as to leave “reviews” of a loved one’s end-of-life care.
Date: Starting Monday, February 26 and running until April 1 with the possibility of an extension
Time: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed on weekends.
Location: Indoor Park (ground floor), David Braley Health Sciences Centre
No registration is required and admission is free.
