A new area of interest is how reproducible social interventions translate to efficacious public policy. Social science tools such as game theory and controlled experiments can provide unique insights in this new scientific domain.

Facilitator: Zach Maniadis is ERA Chair in Science and Innovation at the University of Cyprus (on leave from University of Southampton). His main interests lie in Economics of Science and in cross-fertilization between social sciences and disciplines interested in meta-research.  He has published in journals such as American Economic Review, Research Policy, PLOS Biology and Behavioral and Brain Sciences.
