Join us for a day of discovery as we celebrate 50 years of Social Sciences at McMaster!

Soc Sci Showcase: See what all of the departments are up to by visiting each one in our new Active Learning Classrooms!

Indigenous Studies: Drop into Indigenous Studies to see some of our featured Indigenous Textile Arts and join some of our program’s students who will be showcasing some of their personal bead working projects and will be helping you to start your own! Location: LRW 1811

Climate Change Simulation: Participate in Political Science’s Climate Rapid Overview and Decision Support Simulator. Location: LRW 2001

Socrates Project Virtual Reality Film and Photobooth: Participate in the exhibition of Biidaaban: First Light VR and take a photo, or two, at the photobooth! Location: LRW Black Box and Atrium

Tour L.R. Wilson Hall. Tours begin in the atrium at the Welcome table.

Meet current students and the 2018 MSSS and Soc Sci Reps.

Pet Lily, Social Sciences therapy dog! Lily will be roaming around the open house throughout the day.
