Seniors of Canada, a community-engagement project led by PhD Social Gerontology students in the Department of Health, Aging & Society and funded by the McMaster School of Graduate Studies SPICES program, is hosting a photo exhibit featuring images and stories of local Hamilton seniors.
The project aims to photograph and portray seniors “as they are” to conquer ageism and overcome common age stereotypes through photos and stories. The project is funded by McMaster’s School of Graduate Studies and facilitated by the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging Student Group, whose members include PhD Social Gerontology students as well as MA Health & Aging students from the Department of Health, Aging & Society.
The Seniors of Canada Photo Exhibit will showcase photographs and stories of some of the incredible seniors who live in the Hamilton area.
