As health researchers, system change is often a goal. This session will talk about different ways that researchers can try to drive policy change, respond to policy opportunities, and communicate with policy-makers. We will integrate examples from past research projects relevant to primary care policy decisions.

Presented by Meredith Vanstone, an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University and a member of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis. Meredith is a qualitative researcher interested in improving primary care through policy and health professional education.
