Hamilton cartoonist, Joe Ollmann, gives his personal take on the development of graphic novels, why they deserve their growing reputation, and why some are under attack. One of his eight graphic novels, ‘Fictional Father’, was the first graphic novel to be nominated for the Governor General’s award for adult fiction in Canada. Q&A to follow.
