Move by Peggy Baker Dance Projects

Renowned dancer and choreographer Peggy Baker employs sixteen performers, working in pairs, to explore the dualities of caregiving and dance practice: “touching and being touched, watching and being witnessed, movement through the body and that same body’s movement through space.”

With an electro-acoustic score by musician and composer, Debashis Sinha, move is a “dance installation” that performed by local community members who spend three weekends working with Baker.

Move lasts 70 minutes, in a cycle of four repetitions, with the partners alternating roles, it allows for observers to stay for part or all of the complete cycle. Time slots to be announced.
