This event showcases the exciting and important research carried out by MSc and PhD students in the Department of Biology, giving us an opportunity to appreciate the variety of scientific questions being asked and answered by our colleagues.
This year’s event will include the usual poster session and oral presentations in the hospital’s Ewart Angus Centre, but for the first time will also feature a new 3-min thesis session during which Biology graduate students will quickly summarize their current research to help focus their communication skills in a format more accessible to a wide audience… a talent becoming more and more important in today’s scientists! Prizes will be available for the winning presentations in each category.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Veronica Campanucci, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology, University of Saskatchewan.
