Presented by the Paul R. MacPherson Institute for Leadership, Innovation & Excellence in Teaching, The Learning and Technology Symposium is an annual event that explores how educational technologies are being used to extend learning outside of the classroom.

The Learning and Technology Symposium brings together experts, faculty, staff, and students to learn about effective strategies and best practices in blended learning. This year’s theme is Making Blended Learning Work.

Our keynote speaker Dr. Tony Bates is the author of eleven books in the field of online learning and distance education, including Teaching in the Digital Age. As a consultant specializing in the planning and management of online learning and distance education, he has worked with over 40 organizations in 25 countries. Tony is a Research Associate with Contact North|Contact Nord, Ontario’s Distance Education & Training Network.
