UNTiDy TALES: THE STORY OF CANADA’S UNIVERSITY NAVAL TRAINING
Robert Williamson ’62, Commander RCNR, Ret’d, and McMaster University Alumni Gallery inductee, will share insights into his life changing experiences provided by the University Naval Training program initiated at McMaster University and Guelph Agricultural College, which became a nationwide Reserve officer training plan in 23 Canadian Universities. Illustrating the accomplishments of some of the 9,000 students who took advantage of the experience during the life of the program from 1943 to 1968, he will also share his own amazing and humorous adventures.
