You may have known us as the Centre for Research in the Empirical Social Sciences (CRESS).

Over the last year, we have refined our mission and services and collaborated with research partners to bolster research innovation at McMaster and beyond, including through events, lectures and one-on-one consultations.

Now, as Spark: a centre for social research innovation, we’ll continue to support you, expanding our services to better meet your needs and address the challenges of a demanding and evolving research landscape, both at McMaster and in the community.

From 3:15–4 p.m., join us for a free special event to celebrate the launch of the centre. Drag Queen Bingo, hosted by Lucy Flawless, is open to anyone in the McMaster community free of charge.
