Have electronics?
Donate them at IT Waste Collection Day on Wednesday November 13th from 10am-2pm!
The SUSTAIN 3S03 pilot project “From Trash to Treasure” has an ambitious goal – we want to give 100 kids in Hamilton a refurbished computer by the holiday season. Help us reach our goal by donating electronics that you no longer use! UTS staff will be present to wipe all the information.
Want to know more?
Our project is also re-imagining McMaster’s IT waste disposal system to enhance its sustainability. Curious? Come out to the event and we would be happy to answer your questions!
Please note:
This event will primarily be focused on the collection of electronics to ensure data security, sanitization. Items for reuse for the McMaster community will *NOT* be occurring this year.
Please keep an eye out for an upcoming donation event in late November hosted by the McMaster Engineering Society where members of the McMaster community are welcome to take sanitized electronics and reuse them for IT Collection Day.
Rain date:
In case of bad weather we will be holding the collection day on November 14th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the corner of BSB field.
