Instructional Skills Workshop

These small group workshops are designed to enhance the teaching effectiveness of both new and experienced educators through the review of basic ideas about teaching and current teaching practices. Participants will have the opportunity to apply new strategies and techniques through the design and execution of one “mini-lesson” during each day of the 3-day workshop, and receive verbal, written, and video feedback from other educators participating in the workshop.

This workshop runs for three days and attendance is mandatory for each session:

Monday, December 9th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 11th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, December 13 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate that is widely recognized at many Canadian and international post-secondary institutions.
