The Michael G. DeGroote Centre for Medicinal Cannabis Research is hosting its second conference May 31st and June 1st, 2019. The event will create a forum to share results from ongoing research efforts of the Centre’s associated faculty members and bring together world-class experts in the fields of addictions, mental health, pain, economics, policy and other areas of research to discuss work to advance the understanding of medicinal cannabis. Two special themes for this year will be medicinal cannabis use in veteran populations and the impact of legalization within the Canadian context. Additionally, trainees will have opportunity to share research projects through poster presentations.
