Author, and poet, Jeffery Donaldson, describes how he found an epic but largely hidden work, one of Upper Canada’s first published poems, evoked by the view from Hamilton mountain in 1839 and his journey to learn more. Dr. Donaldson is a professor of English at McMaster.
