Dr. Gregory Steinberg describes new strategies being researched at McMaster beyond diet and exercise to mimic the body’s low energy state, and which could help prevent and treat type 2 diabetes and other metabolism-related health issues in adults and children. Dr. Steinberg is a professor of medicine and Co-Director of The Centre for Metabolism, Obesity and Diabetes at McMaster University.
