The McMaster Alumni Association is pleased to offer a FREE encore movie screening of the documentary film, Anote’s Ark by Matthieu Rytz, in partnership with the Art Gallery of Hamilton.
The documentary follows Anote Tong, former President of the Anote’s Ark the Pacific nation of Kiribati, as he raises global awareness on the struggles his country is facing due to climate change. Anote’s Ark demonstrates the need to not only mitigate greenhouse gas emissions to minimize the impacts of climate change but also to adapt to our already changing climate.
Join us after the film for a panel discussion. The panel represents experts across the public and private sector involved in climate change mitigation and adaptation.
