In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer in Residence program

Every year, the Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer in Residence program invites an established Canadian author to work at the Hamilton Public Library and on the McMaster University campus to mentor creative writers from both the university and the Hamilton community.

This year, we celebrate 20 years of the program with a lively panel discussion featuring past writers from the residency. Join us for an evening with Terry Fallis, Gary Barwin, Kim Echlin, and Trevor Cole as we explore the creative process of writing, teaching and mentoring. The speakers will provide commentary on their own successes and experiences, and what writing means to them.
