This year, Student Open Circles (SOC) is celebrating 20 years of diversity. Over the past two decades, SOC has brought McMaster students and Hamiltonians together to build our community and foster individual growth.
In line with the theme of our campaign, we are hosting 4 skill-sharing workshops themed “Together in Growing.” Our second workshop is “Exercising Body and Mind through Martial Arts” with Katie van Kampen.

Physical strength and mental discipline – The practice of martial arts is the perfect way to get both your body and mind moving in times where there are limited opportunities to do so. The best part? You only need a bit of space and yourself to get started! This workshop is completely introductory and will cover basic movements, so invite a friend and join other beginners!
