Entrepreneurship Week: Connections @ The Clinic

The Clinic @ Mac is proud to present “Connections @ The Clinic” for Entrepreneurship Week!
If you are currently working on an innovative idea or are just curious about entrepreneurship in the healthcare & life sciences sector, please attend our monthly Connections @ The Clinic sessions to hear from Hamilton-based entrepreneurs and connect with other health innovators.
These sessions will be hosted by Lianna Genovese, CEO of ImaginAble Solutions Inc., who will be joined by Ron Galaev, CEO & founder of EmergConnect Inc.
These sessions are an informal panel-style discussion with opportunities for attendees to ask questions of the entrepreneurs, with an open time for Q&A at the end of the session. Please join us for networking between 2-2:30 pm, at which point the panel discussion will begin.
Join our next session at The Clinic @ Mac (McMaster University, Health Sciences Library) from 2:30-3:30pm on November 15th, 2022 and gain insight into the experience of a health entrepreneur and the challenges faced and overcome, and lessons learned for success.
Meet our guest entrepreneur, Ron Galaev:
Ron Galaev is a recent graduate of McMaster’s Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization program and graduate of The Clinic’s Residency Program. EmergConnect has created a first of its kind patient-facing mobile platform that acts as a digital ‘front door’ for patient’s seeking same day care. EmergConnect allows patients to register, meaningfully triage, get an individualized prediction of their wait time at home before arriving at the ED of their choice while being directed to the care that best suits their needs. EmergConnect is currently working with Sunnybrook Health Sciences, St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton, and William Osler Health System.
