Dylan Robinson is a scholar of Stó:lõ descent, and Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Arts at Queen’s University. He is co-editor of Opera Indigene which surveys Indigenous representation in opera. Robinson’s most recent book, Arts of Engagement, examines the role that the arts and Indigenous cultural practices played in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission on the Indian Residential Schools. His forthcoming book, Hungry Listening, focuses on practices of listening from settler colonial and Indigenous perspectives.
Dr. Robinson will be presenting two talks, free and open to the public.
