Free public talk: How should we, as audiences, teachers or researchers, respond to scandals involving contemporary authors or artists and the work they produce?

This talk proposes various critical means of thinking and writing about artists embroiled in controversy.

Dr. Lorraine York is Distinguished University Professor in the Department of English and Cultural Studies, and Senator William McMaster Chair in Canadian Literature and Culture at McMaster University.
