22/11/2017, 7:00 pm - TO 22/11/2017 - 9:00 pm

My Calendar

Have you ever wondered where comets come from, why Pluto is a dwarf planet, and whether there really is a “Planet Nine” in our midst? Join us on our journey beyond Pluto, and explore the icy bodies of the Kuiper belt and the Oort cloud. We will also cover the recent (and exciting!) proposal that there might be a ” Planet Nine” in the outer solar system on the verge of discovery.

Show times: 7 p.m., 8:15 p.m.

McMaster’s McCallion Planetarium is located in the basement of the Burke Science Building. Tickets are $7 per person and may be available at the door, but cannot be guaranteed so we strongly recommend making reservations. To reserve a seat for any of our planetarium shows, or for more information, please follow the links from our website: http://www.physics.mcmaster.ca/planetarium/
