McMaster University Library subscribes to a wide assortment of numeric data resources from various organizations. This session will highlight key subscription-based as well as open data resources with a focus on Social Sciences, Business, and Health that can be integrated into the Undergraduate curriculum to support teaching, learning, and research. Moreover, in a 90-minute session, we will have short demos on data resources available from Statistics Canada, ICPSR, and Open Governmental portal.

This talk is part of the CRESS Research in Focus series. All lunchtime talks will meet in LRWilson Hall 5001. All students, faculty members, and staff are welcome.

The Centre for Research in Empirical Social Sciences (cress.mcmaster.ca) will provide drinks and desserts. Questions about CRESS or the Research in Focus series can be directed to Dr. Michelle Dion at dionm@mcmaster.ca.
